Prayer to An Mórrígan for the Protesters
This is a prayer my partner Nicole Bonvisuto wrote to help the protesters fighting against injustice and police brutality. The Mórrígan fights for justice.
An Mórrígan,
Lady of war and prophecy,
Please be a shield to the protestors tonight and all others,
Keep them safe from harm.
Protect those who have had lives taken and rights stolen.
Lady of sovereignty,
Lend us your far sight.
Let us know what needs to be known,
And see what needs to be seen,
Great Lady, keep us safe from harm.
May you be praised and honored always.
Prayer to Nehalennia During the Pandemic
I call to you, Nehalennia, and I ask for your blessings.
I ask that you guide and guard us as we travel
The essential workers, the healthcare professionals, those that need healing
That they may get to their destinations safely.
Guide and guard the dead
As they travel from this life to the next.
I ask that you guide and guard the goods we need
Both medical supplies and that which keeps our communities alive
So that we may survive this crisis.
I ask that you hinder that which is harmful to us
Stopping the spread of this deadly disease.
Keep us safe as we shelter from this storm.
Please grant us your blessings.
